I wanted to design a representation of Helen’s state of mind in the play. The once vibrant and beautiful walls are burning away and what’s left behind is a black void. The windows and doors to the outside also are black voids because Helen very much lives in her own world and it doesn't extend past her own home. The statues frame the set and give the audience a visual representation when they are referenced in the script. -Winner of The KCACTF Region 3 Focal Press/Rafael Jaen Award 2012 Award

This was a group project with four people. We had to replicate an image. Generally we each took a corner. I specifically did the lower left hand corner and helped work on some of the underneath blue stripes on top.
