Delena is a recent graduate of Ball State University. In 2012, she graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Theatre Design and Technology focusing in Costume and Set Design. Following graduation, she spent the summer working at Utah Shakespeare Festival as a costume technician. In August 2012, she started her current position in the costume shop at Drury Lane Theatre in Oakbrook Terrace as an assistant. She has greatly enjoyed her time living and working in the Chigao-Land area and is eager to continue her career in theatre there.
Delena is a dedicated and hard worker, and collaborates well with others. As an artist, she has a passion for storytelling by means of a visual medium. She loves using artistic, cultural, and technical elements to share a journey of the human experience in theatre. Delena finds great joy in being able to turn the inspiration she found as a child in daydreaming and doodling and focus it onto an exciting career in technical theatre.
