Gothic Arch was inspired by the film Rashomon and took place in a setting inspired by the late Middle ages. I wanted to create a blurred, unspecific timeline with simple suggestive shapes and drapery. The director, scenic designer and I wanted this to story to live in it's own world. There is no truth in the script, or rather, there are many slices of the truth and we wanted the costumes to reflect that,
